Off The Shoulder in Beverly Hills

One of my very favorite places in Southern California is Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills. Even though most of the shops there  are very spendy, it's still super fun to window shop and take in the ambience of this wonderful destination. I usually keep myself on a strict budget, or I would be in a heap of trouble!

The architecture of the buildings is enough to keep your interest, never mind the all the shop til you drop temptations!   Walking down the streets here feels like an afternoon stroll in a European Village.

So who likes to dress up to shop? Even  though I love fashion and dressing up, when I shop I like to be comfortable. Sometimes throwing on a pair of shorts or stylish jeans seems like the best option. However this spot calls for classic and dressy style, which you can achieve without breaking the bank!

Off the shoulder this spring and summer is the go to trend. It seems everyone has fallen in love with it, including me!  There are so many options and fabulous patterns to choose from.  My favorite is a white cotton off the shoulder dress or top.

I found this fabulous top accented with beautiful lace at the fashion district downtown L.A, another favorite destination of mine.  It looks perfect paired with a jean skirt , a cute floppy hat, and chic pair of sandals.

Not only will the shops provide hours of shopping entertainment, you just never know who or what you might see on Rodeo drive! I've heard this is the place  for celebrity sightings. I have been here many times and no run ins with Brad Pitt yet! 

Although the day I was there a few weeks ago, the papparazi were surrounding a store and the door had been locked. I didn't stick around to find out who was there, shopping was more important.

Of course, there are no lack of beautiful cars lining the streets. Also across the way from the Rodeo area, are several residential areas in Beverly hills. I love to walk up and down the streets and view the beautiful homes and gorgeous palm trees.  The warm California sunshine the balmy breezes are so refreshing and exhilarating.
