Viva Las Vegas!
The sights on the strip: Las Vegas Blvd- and all the fun to behold will have you planning sooner than later! This was my 3rd visit to the city, and it never disappoints!
I was in town for the fashion tradeshow Magic, that in itself was worth the trip! More about the show to come soon- with a recap of all the amazing trends coming for spring!
If rest is on the agenda, seeing an entertaining show, gambling, or playing it cool by the pool: Vegas has something for everyone. I am not much for gambling, but this time I had a little fun with it, that fun was short lived! Once 30 bucks went down the drain, I said that's it...I like new clothes in my travel bag instead!
Believe it or not, shopping is not my favorite thing to do there... ( I know a shocker!) I absolutely LOVE to walk down the strip and explore inside and out of all the elaborate hotels.
After 3 visits, I haven't even scratched the surface! This time I did check out some new ones , I hadn't been in before. I love them all, so kind of hard to name a favorite. Each one has it's own unique vibe that mesmerizes you as you walk about.
Alright enough blabbing about how great they are, sit back and enjoy a photo tour with me down the boulevard:
Paris Hotel-
It's located across the way from the Bellagio fountain and whisks you away to the streets of Paris, with a perfect replica of the Eiffel Tower- who needs to fly to Europe?!?
The Bellagio:
Can you say the " Palace Life", oh my it's like strolling through the grounds of a castle estate. Everything about this hotel is drop- your- jaw gorgeous! The fountain show I captured on video is spectacular, and will take your breath away! The gorgeous blue waters dance around in rhythm to the music, it's definitely a must see. I viewed it in the day time, but I heard it's lit up a beautifully at night.
The gardens inside are captivating as well, so make sure you leave lots of time to check them out. Many of these hotels are a shopper's paradise with a mall in house. The Bellagio's shopping quarters are ones you don't want to miss!
The Aria:
Another gorgeous hotel, that has amazing architecture and unique finds. You can grab your cup of morning jo on the Starbucks balcony, it feels like you are suspended in the clouds. The elaborate staircase to get there is quite the walk, nothing like making you work for those coffee beans!
Ah yes, of course I never pass up the chance to check out a mall. The Fashion Show Mall just down from the Bellagio, it's jammed pack with every type of shop to fit your fancy. Prices range from low to high.
The Venetian:
Old world European charm at your fingertips! The lovers being sung to on the gondola boats will entertain for hours, so relaxing and fun to watch.
View out the front porch of the Venetian, a captivating night skyline!
Shops inside the Venetian: Oh yeah big kid in a candy store!
The Miracle Mile is another mall- it owns up to its name for sure, oh me oh my:
shop til you drop and get sore feet!
The Cosmopolitan Hotel:
Okay this one I have to say was my fav! The 3 tiered bar with the gorgeous chandelier swag, was so captivating ! The life sized shoe in the lobby ... total coolness!
New York, New York Hotel:
A lil slice of the big apple right here in Vegas. This is my favorite part of the skyline! I have never been to New York. The iconic landmarks give off NYC vibes for sure!
The inside of the hotel has lots of fun eateries and deli's you would find in NYC as well.
It was fun having two of my best friends to hang out with on the trip!
We saw these cute gals from Japan having a fun time inside at New York New York, so we asked them for a snap!
The Excaliber:
This is the hotel I stayed at this time around. It looks like a dreamy castle fit for a princess doesn't it? Ha, but inside it's more like the servant's quarters , as my friend put it! It wasn't bad, but if you like the posh life, this place is not for you. It has bare bone amenities, dang not even a coffee pot in the room! However it was clean, modern, and a good value for the price.
