Fall Trends To Try: Ruffled Sleeves & Embroidery

Happy November Lovelies!

I hope you are enjoying fall. It's hard to believe it's November already, and the holiday season is upon us. I haven't even thought much about it, or started shopping.  I am overdosing on the Hallmark holiday movies though, ha! These photos were taken at the beginning of fall, when the leaves just started turning colors. We just had our first round of the "white stuff" in Seattle, yuck!  It's crazy that we got snow this early.

How did we survive all these years with out ruffled sleeves and embroidery?!  These trends were popular when I grew up in the 70's. It's so fun to see trends repeat, especially ones you loved as a teen. 

I also like wearing  jean on jean. It used to be considered a fashion faux pas. Now anything goes. If you love it and it feels great, wear it!  This outfit is so fun, and perfect for casual events. Aren't these jeans the cutest? I found them at Marshall's. I love this retailer for chic, affordable fashion.  The shoes I've had since spring, and can't get enough of them.

I am keeping this short and sweet. Normally I post on Wednesday and/or Fridays. I need to visit my mom this week, so I'm posting early this time. I am also playing catch up from a girl's trip to Vegas.
