I hope you are having a great fall so far! I'm always sad for summer to end. As you know, I'm not a fan of cool weather and rain. However, I 'm ALWAYS excited for fall fashion and all the new trends on the runway.
A few Saturdays ago, I attended Bravern Fashion Week, at the Neiman Marcus store in Bellevue WA. This is the 2nd year the Bravern has held a fashion week. The Shops at the Bravern were celebrating their 10 year anniversary, it was exciting to be part of the celebration.
Without further adieu, let's talk about what trends are hot for fall this year. There are so many
fabulous looks you can style this season. It just takes some creativity and stepping out of our comfort zone!.Neiman Marcus put on a stellar show:

What's a fashion event without some great treats and sips!? The " Carnival Themed" after party was so much fun! The food was fantastic and too pretty to eat. Aren't these cupcakes the cutest? I wanted to take mine home and frame it, ha ha!Seriously though, these sweets from Trophy Cupcakes melted in your mouth, so delicious! The Braven's 10th Anniversary Celebration was much sweeter with these.
Popcorn anyone? I love it any time of day and there were too many flavors to choose from! I've never seen so much popped goodness all in one spot! The jalapeno flavor was my favorite.
Fashion Sketches
Talented artists always add a special touch to a night of fashion. Every year local fashion illustrators are working hard to capture everyone dressed to the nines in their favorite outfits.
It's great to take away a memory of your experience at at fashion show. This was definitely a highlight of my night at the Bravern.
You can also enjoy show stopping dining experiences while spending a day shopping. Grab a decadent sweet at The Sugar Factory and eat your heart out at the Dolar Shop and Joh Howie Steak. In addition, you can pamper yourself at Gene Jaurez Salon and Life Time Athletic.
All proceeds from the show benefit local causes. This year, funds from the show went to Save the Children. I love supporting organizations committed to their community.
For the runway event, I wore this satin dropped waist dress by designer Anna Sui. I hope you enjoyed highlights shared from the fall trend show.
