While the idea of waking up before the sun, is not appealing, you may get to see a stunning Algarve sunrise! The bus departs from several different hotels in Albufeira. The tour guide will send a message before departure regarding hotel for your pick up. My pick up time was 6:15 a.m.

Arrival in Seville
After a few hours on the road, we arrived in Seville, a city renowned for its blend of Moorish, Gothic, and Baroque architecture. The bus drops you off along the riverfront, giving you easy access to the city’s main attractions. The tour buses all park in the same area. This makes it easy to find your bus when it's time to leave.
Viator includes a tour guide for the entire trip. The guide educates travelers about the "must-see" spots while on the bus ride . After departing the bus to explore; you can follow the guide for the first 10 minutes to get an overview of the city.
Explore Majestic Seville Cathedral
Start your Seville adventure with a visit to the Seville Cathedral, one of the largest and most impressive Gothic cathedrals in the world. Home to the tomb of Christopher Columbus, this cathedral is a must-see.
Take your time to wander through its vast halls, marvel at the stunning altarpiece, and climb the Giralda Tower for panoramic views of the city. The climb is worth every step, and you’ll get to see Seville from a perspective that’s both breathtaking and unique.
Explore the Royal Alcázar of Seville
Next on your itinerary should be the Alcázar of Seville, a stunning royal palace that showcases the city’s rich history and exquisite Moorish architecture. The Alcázar’s intricate tile work, lush gardens, and serene courtyards makes it a perfect spot to visit history.
Visit Plaza Doña Elvira
After soaking in some history, head to Barrio Santa Cruz, Seville’s charming Jewish Quarter. This area is a maze of narrow streets, whitewashed houses, and vibrant squares. It’s an excellent place to stroll, people-watch and enjoy a relaxed lunch.
The square of Plaza de Doña Elvira is particularly picturesque, offering a perfect spot to sit, rest and enjoy the atmosphere. The weather was perfect the end of June to explore the square and get photos!
Indulge in Tapas and Flamenco
Cruise the Guadalquivir River
On the cruise we saw a magnificent landmark: The Puente de Isabel II, Puente de Triana or Triana Bridge. It's a metal arch bridge in Seville, Spain, that connects the Triana neighborhood with the center of the city. The price for the cruise is 18.00 Euros, and the ticket is bought at time of departure.
Shopping and Souvenirs
Before heading back to Albufeira, do take time to explore Seville’s shopping scene. From boutique shops to artisan markets, the city offers a range of souvenirs and unique finds. Look for handcrafted ceramics, traditional Spanish fans and high-quality leather goods. My favorite find was the fans; the perfect souvenir to remember this amazing city!
